COVID-19 RESPONSE
BRIEF
As a world leader in supplying hotels with all they need to succeed, including safety and sanitation products, the COVID-19 crisis provided Guest Supply with an opportunity to expand their footprint outside of the hotel space and into other industries.
CHALLENGE
How does a company that spent 40 years servicing one industry open its doors and introduce itself to other sectors while remaining true to its original mission statement?
SOLUTION
The solution was in the original value proposition of the brand. They are a true “service provider” whose primary differentiator is to provide products as well as exceptional customer service throughout each transaction.
THE
RELEASE
The first communication was critical. Guest Supply was one of the few companies in the world that could provide many of the products the world required. (Note: at the time, many of these items were out of stock with no knowledge of when they’d be replenished). Guest Supply wanted to fill an important role. The goal was to convey the correct understanding and communicate this properly without seeming ingenuine.
THE
SUPPORT
The next step was the launch of a direct e-commerce site known as Simply Supplies. The team then created dozens of email communications, brochures, flyers, presentations, as well as a wide variety of pieces created to inform others of the product offerings.
Guest Supply even created a new proprietary brand of latex gloves to be manufactured and delivered throughout the crisis. nm+u helped in the naming of the product and designed the packaging as well.
